By Car:

From the Long Island Expressway (I-495):

1. Take Exit 37 (Willis Avenue).

2. Head north on Willis Avenue.

3. Continue onto Mineola Avenue and follow signs toward Port Washington.

4. Turn left onto West Shore Road.

5. Continue approximately 1 mile to the entrance of North Hempstead Beach Park.

Parking - $7 all day

• On-site parking is available.

• Follow posted signs and park staff instructions upon entering the park.

By Public Transportation

Long Island Rail Road

1. Take the LIRR Port Washington Branch to Port Washington Station.

2. From the station:

   • Take the PWS (Port Washington Shuttle) bus toward Soundview and exit at Fairway Drive / West Shore Road.

   • Walk approximately 6 minutes to the park entrance.

   OR

   • Take a taxi or rideshare from the station (approximately 5–10 minutes).

NICE Bus

• The PWS bus serves North Hempstead Beach Park.

• The closest stop is Fairway Drive / West Shore Road, approximately a 6-minute walk from the park entrance.
