Mid-Autumn Dragons

“Our team color is red, a choice rooted in its deep significance in Chinese culture. The design elements pay homage to the Mid-Autumn Festival — the circle evokes the full moon, while the lanterns offer a further nod to the celebration. The warm color palette reflects the tones of autumn, and the dragon and paddles weave in the spirit of the dragon boat sport itself.”

“This shirt was designed for the OPA race last year by Gary Lin. The pandas were digitally drawn with an added touch to include a bamboo paddle, UEAA logos, pilot wings on the front chest, and gold stripes to represent a pilot’s “flying” outfit. The jersey is also intentionally black and white to mimic the colors of a panda. The Chinese characters in the back translate to "flying pandas". The red ink stamp on the back is Gary’s name stamp in Chinese.”
